Its with much sorrow that Im putting my Tiller up for sale, as I need a bike that I can use for long trips or a bike that lends its self to a high bar kit.
99 TL1000RW
Long Tax and Test
Yellow and Carbon Black
17200miles
History to back this up
Full under tray
Stainless tail tidy
Clear rear light
Paddock Bobbins
Renthal chain and sprocks
TRE
Airbox mod
Not long had service and had the Throttle Bodies and TPS set
Art cans plus standards
DB Screen plus black standard
HEL lines
Frame, swinger, rims etc polished
Private plate (valued at £750)
All in she is a very clean bike with no known faults. Im quite OCD about cleaning her too lol. I dont really want her to go and if I come up with another plan she wont be going ether!! I would be willing to look at a px or swap too.

£2600ono now thats a bloody good price, yes if you look on line you will find high miles ones cheaper or ones close to the milage but it wont be as clean as mine nor will it have the history or extras or be Yellow. So if you do find one then go buy that one coz its but mine and I can assure you it wont be as good. Oh and you will end up spending loads getting it sorted :ewsd:

Pics to follow but there are some on here already, SM has seen her in the flesh too lol

So why not just stick a flat bar conversion on? (And ditch the crappy rotary damper for a Maxton conversion preferably...)

The "Crappy" damper as you call it is worse on the TLS, and if you dont know how to set them up then you buy a Maxton. Mind you thats if your such a riding god you can find its limits on the road. So are you that God? lol I dont mind going for a spin with you if you need convicing, mind I dont think your really bothered about buying her are you. As for a high bar kit what kind of knob would chop off the tops of the fairings when they are unmarked and the bike is in great condition? So rather than screw her over by bastardising I thought I would sell her then buy a bike that was made for commuting like a bandit lol. Joking aside mate shes way too clean to mess up streetfightering and as Ive built from scratch 4 fighters I would normally start with a bike that needs saving as opposed to one thats not been dropped. But they was good points, so I hope Ive answered them for you.
Cheers for the bump Woody

no you dont have to joke woody just say whay you mean matey boy, and mean it.
nice bike though hope you get what you want for it, like you said i would be a real shame to make something into summat its not designed to be (that makes sense i think).
good luck with the sale.

p.s. dont be challenging ade to a duel cos he aint as good as a rider has he used to be back in the good old days when men were men and roads where ace and riding was worth doing.
enjoy.

I would have loved to SM, and Ive seen your yellow beast when we was on the egg run. But sadly due to my duty as a Health and Safety officer I could not let you loose on a Tiller for our, I mean your safety :[smile=_adoh.g

The kind who'd buy a yellow screen, lol? Seriously though, most LSL kits don't require any cutting of the plastics or any irreversible changes. My old riding mate had a '98 R1 with a flat bar conversion - best thing you could've done with it, made it so much more fun, vicious nasty angry bike, and a complete hoot to ride, albeit completely mental.

Ooh matron. There's pics on the internet, if you know where to look. Oh, you mean the bike? Don't be daft - it's far too shiny and sexy to ride it now, it'll get dirty, lol...

Needs the fuelling remapping for the Arrow full 3 into 1 system first, so need to get it to the dealers over in York.

lmao I will have to let the guy know who I got the bike from.....good job I got it off him before he tried to make one of those half arsed attempts at a streetfighter, you know the one where you fit a set of bars and buy a bomber jacket and a simpson helmet Rolling Eyes
Mate I have looked at the LSL kits before the problem is the Tiller has a fairing frame and theres just no room as the fairing is quite low and sweeps back if you catch my drift. If you take away the frame its just not sturdy enough.
